The production of Dead Meet began after the creation of a star ship.
Jason approached me with the idea of creating an animation. Jason
had been previously working on a model of a human. His idea was
that the human would be a captain of a star ship. We first started
with a storyboard in order to organize both of our ideas. Looking
at the models we already had, we realized we needed an adversary.
After the modeling process was complete, we applied textures to
our models. The final step in our project was the lengthy process
of animation.
All of the models were created in Nendo v1.1. Texture, animation,
lighting, effects and rendering were applied in 3D Studio MAX R3.1.
The captain was animated using Character Studio V2.2.
