Graffiti is a project I chose to do while learning Director. It indulged
my facination for interesting urban graffiti and the street artists
who risk creating it. It is art with an attitude and I wanted to bring
that to a wide audience. I went in search of images and information,
which I found readily available on the internet. I hunted for some
rap music to match a cool looking interface with moving buttons, and
strived to take advantage of the interactivity available in Director.
I achieved this by putting in a section called Ñdo itâ - where the
user could make her/his own graffiti with a small art program. This
project was a great learning experience and a lot of fun. Although
I was quite frustrated at times, I was grateful to have had access
to a lot of help through James Gonzalez and other teachers at the
College of Marin. |
